December 2024 Safety Scoop: Mechanisms of Injury

December 2024

This month we would like to highlight Mechanisms of Injury

Injuries can happen in the workplace at any time. Mechanisms of Injury (MOI) refers to the method in which an injury occurs. Including the force, direction and body part(s) affected at the time of an injury.

Understanding Mechanisms of Injury is important as it allows us to decipher the significance of the injury as well as the care and rehabilitation required to recover. All bodies will recover at different rates and in different ways.

Here's the Scoop:

  • Mechanisms of Injury

  • Minimizing Injury
