Canada - Alberta Job Grant
The MHSA is passionate about guiding our members to advance individuals education in health and safety. Designations such as Safety Auditor, Manufacturing Safety Officer (MSO), and Manufacturing Safety Administrator (MSA) certification will assist in the elevation of your health and safety career.
MHSA is always looking at new ways to promote the advancement of knowledge in the Manufacturing health and safety Industry. The Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG) is a government is a program that allows employers to invest in training for current and future employees at a significant discount. The savings could be up to 67%, or about two-thirds, of eligible training costs for Employed Trainees. Employers are eligible for up to $10,000 in funding per trainee per fiscal year (April 1 to March 31).

Funding will not be provided for courses that start before your application is received.
Ensure to submit your application a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of your training courses
You must start the courses identified on your application within 6 months.
Each training course must be added to the application separately.
Employers may pay for training at any time; however, the training cannot start until all trainee(s) have signed the application and the application is received by the CAJG.
